Wednesday night, Brooklyn’s own PUSH! came and shut Santos Party House down. PUSH! opened the show and reminded the crowd that he’s coming to take that spot. The energy was live, but that’s to be expected when M!B hits the stage. Things started getting crazy when he performed Iceman and then really got turnt all the way up when Maino hit the stage to perform Last of the Mohicans with PUSH! One thing is for sure PUSH! never disappoints during a live show. There aren’t too many people you can say that about.
After PUSH! Fat Tony and Tom Cruz graced the stage, followed by Children of the Night and World’s Fair who brought out Bodega Bamz. All good performances.
And then of course Freddie Gibbs, aka Gangsta Gibbs came out and rocked the house. He touched the stage and gave the crowd exactly what they wanted to see and more.
Overall the show was amazing. And for the first time ever, I was actually satisfied with all the performances. I was only expecting to see greatness from PUSH! and Freddie Gibbs; I lucked up and was introduced to some other quality acts, who’s style was more reminiscent of 90s gutter hip hop.
